I might possibly be the last person say this about Men in Black, but im there might be a pot head journalist who doesn't even know it, (though it's unlikely).. I haven't seen it yet, but I really want to.
So I'll make an educated guess about it (using stuff I already know about it from trailers and movie review articles). But it's not all dull and gloomy, because I'll be expressing my excitement on Kristen Stewart's first 'real' movie, Snow white and the Huntsman.

Well for one thing, Im looking to the widely praised younger Agent K (Josh Brolin), he plays Tommy Lee's part very well..or so I hear. I'll skip the story of the movie because..well, Im sure by now you all know, but if there's someone that has been under a rock the past couple of weeks, then "Agent J travels in time to MIB's early years in the 1960s, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history" (http://www.imdb.com/). So what to expect?. Well, Agent J (Will Smith) going crazy..well, you what I mean. Agent K's ever level-headed rationalism, (which I must say, happen to find ammusing). So all-in-all, I'll be expecting a typical M.I.B movie.

Now for Snow white..

..just by looking at this picture, you can bet this will be a good better, (worlds better than Twilight..I'm sorry but I had to get that out in the open), but more realistically speaking, the cast of this movie is so interesting, I mean Kristen Stewart (as Snow White), Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron just mention the major players of the movie.
This movie to me looks and feels like Lord of the Rings meets Twilight but with an awesome and new twist. I can't to see this one, and I can't wait to see how the actors bring the characters alive.
Can't wait, Snow white and the huntsman 01 June 2012 in a cinema close to you.

One more thing, if you"re a die hard fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, next week I'll be reviewing the next big thing to come out of that production hat, The Hobbit.. I saw the trailer and damn!!

kings of hip hop

The Hip hop game has changed dramatically over the years, from the giants Tupac, B.I.G, Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, Snoop Dogg and X zibit to mention a few, to Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Jay Z, 50 cent (G-unit), Nas, Black Eyed Peas, Nick Cannon and the newest, most shocking addition to the very long list, Serena Williams. It seems like hip hop has changed from the 'smart quick lines and hard punch lines' to something soft, pretty with glitter all over and seemingly pointless, (but hey, that's my opinion), it's only a few people that has been true to the game, and even they seem to dip on the softer side of hip hop at point or another, Jay Z for example. The man had fallen into a dark bottomless pit and if it wasn't for the 'heroics' of Kanye West, everyone would be saying " Jay Z who??..oh, the dude who used to spit dope rhymes back in the day".
It does bring up a good question though, if Tupac and B.I.G were still alive, would hip hop be in this dire situation?.

 "..The Girl on Fire".

I finally watched the 'popularly praised' movie The Hunger Games and contrary to some 'popular' belief that it would be a total bore,it was'nt.
It was like watching Twilight Breaking Dawn in a Bugatti Veyron doing 270km/h in a school zone area, totally mind boggling, well atleast after 59 minutes of it.
Twilight meets Avatar, imagine the technology and incredible story line of Avatar and the scenery and 'polished-snot nosed' teenagers of the Twilight series to create the close-to-brilliance that is The Hunger Games, though the movie is highly political..and no, i don't think i'll go it that, just yet, the movie was awesome and I'll leave it at that.
Sadly not everyone agrees with me, for example a girl with which I watched the movie has a slighty different view and brings up an interesting point. though keep in mind that she occasionally grabbed my arm and screamed during some intense scenes..
"nice movie shame bt its def nt my idea of a brilliant thot out action film..watchn a bunch of teens kill each otha?!Ow en app its da next "Twilight"..ok look,da movie is gud,bt nt tht gud.I mean thez r two completely diff concepts,y compare nyway!Wit tht sed,i giv it 7/10." - Sivenathi Mabuya-(facebook.com)
So you go watch it and decide for yourself.

lazy S.A?

I must say/ or point out rather, the talent that lies secretly in the plain-sight in the Mother-land..
but what is it about us that we don't really realise it fully?, honestly then..who amongst us can say that of all the people you know,no one can dance, rap, sing, play an instrument and/or many more other talents?.
So my "quest" will be to seek out talent in my town (E.L), take videos and post them right here!.
I know, I know its a tall order, but someone has to do it!
keep reading..I'll surprise you!!

'blood sacrifices'

Since the beginning of this year (inparticular),I've been increasingly hearing about, well, the infamous 'END' and the Illuminati. And no,not entirely from 'hear-say' from paranoid friends, but from rappers!!!.

Remember the Kanye West 2009 hit single; 'Jesus walks'?,yes?..well that was when rappers stopped using 'subliminal messages' and made direct references to 'The Dark Lord' like
Eminem in song; "3am in the morning", and this thought provoking quote from Jay Z and Rick Ross single; "Free mason"
"..this is for the soldiers /that see the sun at midnight ,ya dig?..",but wait, there's more and this one takes the cake...ready??
...the 2010 Grammy-award winner for best rapper, Eminem in his strangely memorable single 'rain man',where he states slurishly "..jesus is mad.." and "..my soul is possessed by this devil/my new name is..rain man" (www.newsroom.mtv.com/2009/03/24/is-eminems-new-name-rain-man/).

And its not like its a new thing, alot more rappers, singers and actors are join the 'illuminati',people such as Lil Wayne,The Game,Jay Z,Beyonce and Rihanna, just to mention a few.

What does this mean?
Is the world going to end OR is something drastic/devastating going to happen?
If not then what are these people raving about?

I don't know about you,but imconvinced...

Transformers 4 vs. Wrath Of The Titans

There's alot of hype around the releasing of this two movie icons..we all know the Optimus - Megatron saga from the past three movies (or/and from cartoons) well enough to impaciently wait for the releasing of this blockbuster, but a few years back we were 'caught with our pants down' at the arival of this new sensation; Clash Of The Titans. well their both coming out soon (at a cinema near you),and theres much debate as to which one will "bring in the most benjamins" on its first week open..but i think 'Wrath Of The Titans' will whipe the floor with 'Transformers' butt...(i hope)

civil music

I am,at heart,a die hard Hip hop fan but seemed to have fell for the sweet yet strange sounds of soft rock. And im saying this with a strand of,but only a tiny strand,"Civil Twilight' is,by far the best rock band, and im not just saying that because their South African, but for the mere fact that their 'heart felt' music just pulls you in and forces you to listen..and it only takes a few seconds to be hooked, before you've even realised, you've listened to the whole album like I have (5 times!)..now thats what I call 'Civil' addiction
